About Us
Mowoki Tours is a sustainable travel agency based in Togo that specializes in organizing private and non-private tours and related activities.
The agency conducts tours in Togo, Benin, and Ghana, with a focus on small communities and villages. The aim is to contribute to the development of the local economy while also immersing travelers in the culture of the region visited. The founder, Jeremies Pimizi, is a 32-year-old social entrepreneur with over ten years of experience in the West African travel and tourism industry. Mowoki Tours was created to offer travelers a unique local experience, adding the founder’s personal touch and values.
As part of Mowoki’s social mission, Jeremies founded Fly for Life Association in 2016, which supports local communities through four programs: healthcare, technology and science education, the Eduball program, focused on education through football, and financial education for women and farmers.
Name and Logo
The name Mowoki means “I’m going there” in Kabye, one of Togo’s national languages, while the logo represents an abstract Moba wooden statue, an ethnic group from northern Togo. These statues stand like sentinels in front of Togolese houses and village entrances, offering protection to those who respect tradition. The agency’s safety is a top priority, with a well-trained staff that is knowledgeable about the region, holds first-aid certificates, and regularly maintains all vehicles.
